Tony Shaw and Jimmy Bartel debate how Jack Ginnivan is officiated

Tony Shaw and Jimmy Bartel have gone head-to-head on how Hawthorn forward Jack Ginnivan has being officiated.

Shaw was critical Ginnivan wasn’t given a free kick after being bowled over by Gold Coast’s Mac Andrew during Saturday night’s clash.

“No that’s wrong,” Shaw said on 3AW Football about the non-decision.

Responding to Shaw, Jimmy Bartel pushed back and said he wasn’t interested in re-writing the rules every time the divisive Hawk is in the spotlight.

“It’s a a free kick and I acknowledge that but I don’t want (calls) for a new rule every time he doesn’t get a free kick,” Bartel said.
