Tony Shaw raises questions over Bobby Hill’s absence from Collingwood’s side

Collingwood small forward Bobby Hill remains out of the side due to personal reasons, and it’s unlikely the 2023 Norm Smith medallist will feature in September action.

Magpies great Tony Shaw had his say on the concerning situation and has questioned why clubs don’t have more power in these instances.

“Sooner or later, you have a responsibility to say I’m a football player,” Shaw said on 3AW Football.

“This is what’s happened with clubs now, they have no comeback to players who just ‘oh I just don’t want to play now, it’s getting too hard, too tough.”
