Tony Shaw’s simple rule tweak to help reduce congestion

Tony Shaw has a simple idea to reduce congestion.

Shaw told 3AW Football a simple rule tweak could do the trick.

“If you get tackled and it’s held to you, that’s a perfect tackle, that’s a ball up,” Shawry said on Saturday night.

“When someone tackles someone and the ball just pops out, the umpire says it was knocked out in the tackle.

“If we can make that a free kick, I reckon it’d clear a lot of congestion.”
