Tom Langdon undergo medical at Sydney
Collingwood defender Tom Langdon has conducted a medical as part of a big-money offer presented to him by the Swans.
Jarrad Waite said a move for the 24-year old would steady the Sydney backline.
Tom Hickey seals deal to West Coast
Former St.Kilda ruckman Tom Hickey has headed west to the Eagles.
The 27-year-old moves to the premiers for pick 39 with both clubs swapping later picks in the process as well.
Mitch Cleary said Hickey headed to AFL House himself to confirm the deal.
“He was in at AFL House signing the paperwork…it’s not often you see that,” he said on Trade Wrap.
“He was at the St.Kilda gym early this morning before he got a call from the list boss at the Saints to say the deal is done.”
Brisbane move close to securing Lachie Neale
The Lions are one step closer to prizing star midfielder Lachie Neale out of the Dockers.
Brisbane conducted a pick swap with the Gold Coast Suns on Wednesday and Cleary said it was an important step in the deal.
“It might not look like much on the surface,” he said.
“The Dockers want more than pick four (for Neale)…and it might be something that accelerates that deal.”
Jasper Pittard lands at Port Adelaide as part of Polec deal
Jared Polec is finally a North Melbourne player after weeks of speculation but in a twist, Jasper Pittard has landed at Arden Street as part of the deal.
The Roos gave up pick 11 for both Polec and Pittard, as well as a swap of third and fourth-round draft picks.
