Tom Scully seals trade to Hawthorn
GWS have let go of Tom Scully to the Hawks, with just a future fourth-round pick coming back in return.
There’s widespread concern over the ankle injury that saw him play only one game in 2018.
Gold Coast involved in four deals
The Suns have been involved in four seperate deals on the penultimate day of the trade period, with Aaron Hall and Jack Scrimshaw departing and George Horlin-Smith join from Geelong.
They were also involved in a pick swap that helped Adelaide net fringe Tigers small forward Tyson Stengle.
North Melbourne to make another play for Josh Kelly in 2019
The Trade Wrap panel has lauded North Melbourne’s activity during the trade period.
The Roos have secured Aaron Hall, Jasper Pittard, Jared Polec and Dom Tyson ahead of drafting next-gen academy player Tarryn Thomas and father-son prospect Bailey Scott.
“If I’m Josh Kelly, I’m (asking myself) why I would stay at this footy club,” Mitch Cleary said.

Host of trades still yet to be completed
With the trade deadline less than 24 hours away, there’s still a number of high-profile trades still yet to be confirmed.
Here’s some of the players still waiting to land at new clubs ahead of the trade period ending at 8:30pm on Wednesday:
