Trent Cotchin free to play in the grand final
Trent Cotchin is free to play in the grand final.
The Richmond captain has been cleared by the Match Review Panel over his collision with Dylan Shiel.
The MRP said Cotchin’s direction was in line of the ball, not his opponent.
The “contract was not unreasonable in the circumstances.”
Rory Sloane and Brandon Ellis were also cleared.
Cotchin never in doubt in my eyes. Entitled to attack a disputed ball. Incidental contact sometimes occurs. #playon 💪 pic.twitter.com/cHaDzeO5Oe
