Trucking boss walks free over the deaths of four police officers
A family member of one of the four police officers who were killed on the Eastern Freeway back in 2020, has spoken out after the trucking company manager, who allowed a truck driver to work while on drugs, walked free from court.
Andrew Prestney, father of police officer Josh Prestney, says the court system has let his son and the other police officers down.
“We’re pretty flat, pretty angry, dismayed, disillusioned by the whole court system, but we’ll regroup,” he told Jacqui Felgate.
