Victoria Police fundraising walk concludes in Wangaratta
Victoria Police’s Head to Head fundraising walk concluded in Wangaratta earlier on Tuesday.
Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton and Police Association of Victoria Secretary Wayne Gatt walked from opposite ends of the state to raise funds for police mental health.
It took place over 23 days and raised over $500,000 at last count, which will go towards ensuring police officers are taken care of once they retire.

.@PoliceAssocVIC says the hardest part was the 5km he walked alone. Says police veterans should never suffer the trauma they’ve been left with from the job alone. pic.twitter.com/c69Pg6egeX
