Victoria Police investigates ‘creepy’ scanner hack

Victoria Police is investigating reports of a “hack” on one of its scanners last night.

James told Tom Elliott about the incident.

He said the “creepy” call came to a Lakes Entrance police car and the hacker was pretending to be from the office, shortly before midnight.

It follows a similar incident in Gippsland in August.
