Footage of a second ugly incident involving the suburban football player wearing an ankle tracking device has been sent to 3AW Mornings.

In the vision of the game between Reservoir and South Morang, Reservoir’s Ashley Cluney appears to hold an opponent’s legs, causing him to fall flat on his back, Cluney then launching his entire body at the opponent, lying on top of him.

It follows the tribunal’s decision to ban Cluney for life, for an earlier incident where he broke a player’s jaw.

Cluney faced the Northern Football League tribunal last night after the news of his shocking act was broken on 3AW Mornings yesterday.

Cluney was handed a 16-week ban last night, which triggered his automatic de-registration.

The Northern Football League’s Chief Executive, Peter McDougall told Neil Mitchell Reservoir has until 5pm tomorrow to launch an appeal.

“Haven’t spoken to the club this morning yet but they’re entitled to do that,” he said.

The victim was unable to attend the tribunal hearing because he had recently undergone surgery on his broken jaw.
