‘We didn’t give the same effort’ Jake Lever responds to Demon disaster

Jake Lever has fronted the music after Essendon dominated the Dees to win by 45 points at Gather Round.

The Demon defender said it was disappointing to see the drop off as Melbourne seemed complacent, particularly in the second half.

“We didn’t give the same effort,” Lever said on 3AW Football.
