West Coast’s fiercest rival keen to pinch gun free agent

West Coast defender Jeremy McGovern has put contract talks off until the end of the season.

And arch-rival Fremantle is ready to swoop on the Eagle, according to Tom Morris.

While several Victorian clubs are likely to be keen on trying to lure McGovern east, the Sportsday newshound said Fremantle was preparing to throw plenty at McGovern.

“They’re the biggest suitor,” he said.
