Western Bulldogs AFLW coach lifts lid on strong bond with Luke Beveridge

During her travels as a professional golfer, Tamara Hyett would often carry a footy and always had a passion for Aussie Rules, with her uncle Doug Wade forging a career as a legendary goalkicker in the V/AFL.

This week marked the start of AFLW preseason for 2025 and Hyett’s second year as Western Bulldogs senior coach.

She’s spent the offseason training with the men’s program and picking the brains of the experienced coaches around her.

“We’re lucky enough Bevo and I have a great relationship,” she told on 3AW Football.

“You do buy into what the boys are doing and ride every bump. Having been part of other programs, this is definitely a really organic cross promotion of all programs.”
