Hawthorn CEO has stated the Hawks want to remain in Tasmania despite the state’s own team, the Devils, set to join the competition.
Ash Klein said after 25 years, Hawthorn should have a remaining presence in the state after two decades of investment.
“We’re very passionate about Launceston and Tasmania, we’ve done 25 years there,” Klein said on 3AW Football.

“It will definitely be the Tasmanian team, but we offer something completely different from a tourism perspective.
“We know what we’ve done down there, we’ll continue to do what we do.”
