What jumped out to Jimmy Bartel in Geelong concussion controversy

The AFL player at the centre of the secret concussion scandal has identified himself, with Geelong defender Jake Kolodjashnij releasing a statement this afternoon.

Cats CEO Steve Hocking also released a statement before fronting the media.

And there were some comments made by Hocking that caught the attention of club great Jimmy Bartel.

“I don’t know if they keep their jobs to be honest, Steve Hocking and Craig Drummond, that’s how serious this is,” Lloyd said on Sports Today.

AFL Players Association CEO, James Gallagher, said he was “completely flummoxed” when he found out the news.
