What Leigh Matthews wants to see AFL do to reduce injury and concussion risk
Leigh Matthews has a theory on why the amount of injuries in the AFL seem to only be increasing, calling on the league to greatly reduce interchange rotations to slow down the sport.
His comments come on the back of Nathan Murphy’s forced retirement due to concussion, as well as a general uptick in injuries so far this season.
“A lot of injuries (and concussions) are happening in the game,” he told Wide World of Sports.
