What Matthew Lloyd thinks Steven King will say to Christian Petracca amid trade speculation

Matthew Lloyd has weighed in on reports of Melbourne star midfielder Christian Petracca and the club both being “open” to a move.

Lloyd thinks if Petracca is wavering at all, he’d move him on, with new head coach Steven King needing to convince the 29-year-old to stay at the club.

“If for the second year in a row he doesn’t want to be there, you’re best to do what you can do and see if you can get something for him,” Lloyd said on 3AW Drive.
