What Matthew Lloyd wants to happen after Essendon’s poor start to the season

Essendon great Matthew Lloyd has shared his thoughts on his former club’s poor start to 2026, and what needs to happen from here.

The Bombers have been thumped by Hawthorn and Port Adelaide in their first two games, but Lloyd doesn’t think they’re as bad as what they’re putting out at the moment.

“I think they are a group of players that seem to be confused about what the coach wants from them,” Lloyd told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.
