What Tony Shaw and Matthew Richardson think of the new AFL finals format
Tony Shaw and Matthew Richardson have both weighed in on the AFL’s announcement on the new finals format, with two wildcard finals to be played during the pre-finals bye.
The Collingwood had a strong stance on the wildcard round, telling Jacqui Felgate he’s not a fan of the new look finals series.
“If you finish ninth or 10th, you haven’t qualified to make finals … I don’t like it,” Shaw said on 3AW Drive.
