What Zac Williams thinks of Tom De Koning’s role change

Tom De Koning’s future at Carlton and the role he’s playing on-field continues to be the subject of much speculation.

The Blues’ big man had 14 disposals and a goal in his side’s loss to Brisbane on Thursday night, continuing to play forward of the ball instead of in the ruck.

Teammate Zac Williams was asked post-match about his role in the team, and the Bronx cheers from sections of the Carlton fans as he continues to be linked to a big-money move to St Kilda.

“I like him (in the forward line),” he told Laura Spurway on 3AW Football.

“It’s a different role for him than in the first half of the year for him, everyone needs to play a different role at some point.”
