What’s causing the tension between taxi and rideshare drivers at Melbourne Airport

Tensions have reached boiling point between taxi and rideshare drivers at Melbourne Airport, with the leader of the Victorian Taxi Drivers Union Darren Parker claiming the environment there to be “toxic” yesterday.

Transport advocate and former leader of the Transport Matters Party, Rod Barton, also agreed there’s tension between the two groups and pointed out the glaring problem igniting the issue.
