Leigh Matthews says Alastair Clarkson’s ugly clash with a reporter recently may have a positive by-product at North Melbourne.

Speaking on 3AW’s Wide World Of Sports, Matthews didn’t defend Clarkson’s actions and said his reputation had taken a “bit of a hit (and) probably rightly” over the incident, but it may not be seen the same way at the club.
