Why ‘amazing’ Pendlebury is still critical to Collingwood’s premiership hopes

Leigh Matthews has praised Scott Pendlebury and his ability to guide his side to a critical victory over the Demons on Saturday night.

Pendlebury, who is now 37 years old, is showing no signs of hanging up the boots anytime soon. In Matthew’s opinion, the former Pies captain is still instrumental to his side.

“I’ve never seen a player who handles the pressure better,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.
