Why Collingwood’s premiership defence has reached a ‘tipping point’

Wide World of Sports

Matthew Lloyd says Collingwood’s current struggles highlight just how difficult it is to win multiple premierships in a row.

The Pies sit outside the out after Friday night’s loss to Essendon, with another difficult clash against Geelong on Friday night to come.

As the injuries continue to pile up – headlined by Brody Mihocek’s season-ending pectorial injury – Lloydy said it was a long way back for Craig McRae’s side as they look to keep their premiership defence alive.
