Why Dayne Zorko has been in ‘solid dialogue’ with umpires in recent weeks
Brisbane Lions captain Dayne Zorko says he’s spoken at length with the AFL’s umpiring department in recent weeks, seeking advice on how he can limit the number of 50-metre penalties he gives away this season.
Speaking on 3AW, Zorko was the first to admit he’d been a “massive contributor” to the problem at the Lions.
He said he and teammate Mitch Robinson had been in “solid dialogue” with umpires.
“They’ve been extremely helpful,” he said.
