Why Essendon are fed up with ‘brilliant but selfish’ Zach Merrett

Caroline Wilson has reported that the tension between Bombers captain Zach Merrett and his club is only growing as the superstar looks to orchestrate a trade to Hawthorn.

With Merrett unlikely to attend the Essendon best and fairest on October 2nd, Wilson believes the situation continues to deteriorate.

“There is huge anger and disappointment from the Essendon Football Club that their captain has done this, said Wilson on 3AW Football.
