Why Grant Thomas finds St Kilda’s decision to sign Jake Stringer ‘baffling’

Former St Kilda head coach Grant Thomas did not hold back on the club’s decision to sign GWS forward Jake Stringer.

The Saints and Stringer have agreed to a one-year contract, and will be formally added to the list on the 2nd of November when Delisted Free Agency opens.

“I don’t know why we’re doing it, it doesn’t seem to be a premiership decision to me,” Thomas said on Sports Today.

“To be frank, Jake is either sh*t-hot or sh*thouse.

“I reckon he (Stringer) lacks leadership and I reckon St Kilda does too.”
