Why Jy Simpkin is full of praise for ‘warrior’ Charlie Comben

North Melbourne’s captain Jy Simpkin has praised young Charlie Comben for pushing through injury as the Kangaroos shocked Carlton to run out 11-point winners.

Simpkin credited the defender for playing despite being underdone for the clash.

“The adversity he’s been through in his whole career and life makes him one of the strongest mentally at the club,” Simpkin said on 3AW Football.
