Why Leigh Matthews believes Collingwood should decide Scott Pendlebury’s future

Leigh Matthews says the ball should be in Collingwood’s court on whether Scott Pendlebury should play on in 2027.

With no formal contract decisions being placed in front of the ageing superstar. Matthews believes if the club were to not offer Pendlebury a contract, he would accept that.

“It should never be the players’ call in my opinion,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.
