Why Leigh Matthews knocked back a role on the AFL Commission

Leigh Matthews has shed light on why he turned down a role on the AFL Commission, after Caroline Wilson brought it up on 3AW Football.

Matthews said he was “pretty keen” initially, but eventually turned down the opportunity.

“Maybe I was seduced by the prestige and status…” Matthews said.
