Why Leigh Matthews thought Pies member’s Michael Voss text was a ‘misplaced’ joke

Earlier in the week, a Collingwood fan was suspended from attending AFL games and the MCG for five years because of a message sent through to the MCC anti-social behaviour hotline.

On 3AW Football, Leigh Matthews weighed in on the suspension and thinks it was a “misplaced” joke.

“It was nowhere near a threat to Michael Voss,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.
