Why Matthew Lloyd doesn’t agree with Tony Jones’ Collingwood assessment

Matthew Lloyd disagrees with Tony Jones’ glowing assessment of how Collingwood is faring right now.

The Channel 9 sports presenter said on Monday that the Pies were clearly the AFL’s best team.

But while Lloyd said Collingwood were one of the three best sides, they’re not playing football at a level clearly above their competitors.

“This time last year Sydney was clearly the best side in the competition,” he told Jacqui Felgate.
