Why new Richmond co-captain has no issue with Sydney Stack’s seaside stunt

New Richmond co-captain Dylan Grimes says he has no issue with Sydney Stack’s backflip stunt at Blairgowrie’s popular jumping rock.

In fact, he said it could help Stack play better football this year.

Stack was called into question by former Port Adelaide star Kane Cornes on Monday after vision emerged of Stack performing the trick at the weekend.

But Grimes told 3AW it was important for players to enjoy themselves outside of football.

“Personally, I thought it was great to see him and Tom Lynch down there enjoying themselves,” he said.
