Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has admitted he was “surprised” John Farnham decided to use his song “You’re the Voice” for the yes side in the upcoming referendum.

The decision has caused backlash for the legendary singer, with Ford stating “it has upset a lot of people”, but has been told there were no financial incentives for Farnham with using his song in the advertisement.
