Why Richo wouldn’t run the risk with Dangerfield

Matthew Richardson says he wouldn’t risk Patrick Dangerfield in Round 1.

The Geelong superstar has suffered a low-grade hamstring strain, but is still considered a chance to be fit for the clash with Melbourne on March 25.

“I wouldn’t be playing – it’s his first hamstring,” Richo said on Sportsday.

“Once you do one, you’ve got a strong chance of it recurring.

“I don’t think I’d be risking him.”
