Why Sam Durham feels ‘lucky’ after Bombers great escape

Essendon midfielder Sam Durham isn’t entirely convinced with his own side’s fourth quarter performance after the Dons snuck home to win by eight points over the Swans.

Despite a dominant performance for the majority of the game, Durham admitted Essendon may have been fortunate to get over the line.

“Definitely a bit of relief, but I don’t know why we do it to ourselves,” Durham said on 3AW Football.
