Why the AFLPA is concerned by reports of additional ‘behaviour’ clauses
The AFLPA has voiced concern about reported additional behavioural clauses being imposed on footballers by clubs.
It comes with Jordan De Goey in protracted negotiations with Collingwood about a new deal.
Brett Murphy from the AFLPA told 3AW he wasn’t “in a position to speak about Jordan, specifically” but there were already many clauses in a standard AFL contract.

“These are things that have been heavily negotiated and agreed between the AFL and AFLPA,” he said.
“From our perspective, that should be it.”
