Why Tom Elliott is ‘not keen’ on an AFL mental health round
There have been calls for a state-wide mental health round for all footy leagues across Victoria.
Tom Elliott is against the idea, and thinks the AFL should focus solely on football and fix the issues that is impacting the game negatively for fans.
“I’m not automatically keen on the idea of having another special round of footy,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“Until the AFL is firing on all cylinders, until as fans we are absolutely happy with the way the game is conducted, I don’t think we need to start lumbering football with another special round.”
President of the AFL Fans Association, Ron Isko, then responded to Tom Elliott’s questioning on a mental health round.
“Maybe the AFL can do a number of things at the same time,” Mr Isko said.
