Tom Elliott has claimed the NRL has a better chance of growing in popularity in America than the AFL.

It comes after the NRL hosted games yesterday in Las Vegas, which has proved to be a success with the Americans who attended.

The 3AW Mornings host said the AFL “doesn’t have a future” in America.
