Why Tony Jones doesn’t ‘have an ounce of sympathy’ for Daniil Medvedev

Veteran sports reporter Tony Jones has branded Daniil Medvedev a “sook” and “sore loser” after the Australian Open runner-up lashed out at “disappointing” and “disrespectful” crowds at the tennis.
Medvedev clashed with the crowd on several occasions throughout the tournament, particularly irked by those he said were shouting between serves and cheering double faults.
It led to him opening up at his final press conference of the tournament, saying “the kid had stopped dreaming” and questioned his future in the sport.
“He’s a bloody sook, Neil, and a sore loser,” Tony Jones said on Monday.
“I don’t have an ounce of sympathy for him, whatsoever.
“He brings it upon himself.
“You can’t stand on court and tell the crowd they have a low IQ and then carry on like a pork chop throughout the tournament.”
