Why Tony Jones thinks it was a “great pity” West Coast won on Saturday

Tony Jones says it was a “great pity” Collingwood lost on Saturday night.

And it’s not because he’s a Magpie fan.

The Channel 9 sports host said it meant West Coast was now “very well-placed” to make the grand final.

And he says that’s not good news for anybody wanting a contest in the decider.

“I think it would be a wasted spot in the grand final,” TJ said on 3AW Mornings.

“They can’t perform at the MCG.

“We’ve seen it before, in very recent times.”
