Why Tony Shaw doesn’t believe St Kilda is a ‘destination club’ for recruits

Tony Shaw says St Kilda is no longer a destination club, largely as a result of their current style of play.

The Saints have slumped to 14th on the ladder after losing to Fremantle on Saturday night, and Shawry says their game style under coach Ross Lyon wouldn’t be enticing any free agents to make the switch to Moorabbin.

“I don’t think it’s a destination club,” he said on 3AW Football.

“But it’s horrible, because I still think they have some ability.”
