Wodonga’s mayor says the border community is at “breaking point” as Victoria enters its sixth lockdown.

Wodonga will join the rest of the state in entering a hard lockdown from 8pm on Thursday.

Albury, which sits on the other side of the river in NSW, is largely open for business, despite thousands of active case of coronavirus in Sydney and surrounds.

Kevin Poulton said it was hard to swallow.
