‘Wrong thing to do’: Tom Elliott’s pointed words for Carlton fans

Carlton’s season reached a new low on Saturday, as Michael Voss’ side lost to North Melbourne.
It led to a furious reaction at the MCG, with Blues fans booing and jeering players during the game.
While Tom Elliott said he understood the frustration, he didn’t like fans booing their own players.

“I heard a lot of Carlton supporters booing the team and I don’t support that,” he said on 3AW Mornings.
“You can be upset and angry, but to boo your own team is the wrong thing to do.”
