‘You feel sick’: Matthew Lloyd opens up on the impact of heavy losses at Essendon
Matthew Lloyd has opened up on how he’d feel after a heavy loss or a bad performance in his playing days, following his former club’s 90-point loss to Brisbane on Sunday.
The club great admitted it’s “very hard watching” at the moment, with only one win in 2026 and a vacant head coaching spot.
“You feel sick to be honest,” Lloyd said on 3AW Drive.
