The big question that remains unanswered in the Geelong concussion saga
An independent legal counsel has been called in to help the AFL decide whether Geelong will be punished over its secret concussion agreement with Jake Kolodjashnij.
A King’s Counsel will assess whether the Cats breached any league rules, after the defender waived some legal rights relating to future head knocks.
And there’s one big question that remains answered in the whole saga, according to AFL journalist Sam McClure.

“This could be displayed and portrayed in so many different ways, depending on the context you give it,” McClure told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.
“The optics of all of this seem very poor.”
