Adam Treloar’s injury far worse than first thought, Harris Andrews unlikely to play again this year
Collingwood star Adam Treloar may not play again this season, with Brisbane’s Harris Andrews also set for a similar stint on the sidelines.
Sportsday newsbreaker Tom Morris provided an update on the pair on Monday.
Despite the fact it was initially only thought to be cramp, it’s since emerged Treloar may have in fact suffered severe tendon damage.
That would require surgery, leaving Treloar set for three months on the sidelines.
Andrews, meanwhile, suffered bleeding on the brain following an ugly incident involving Jeremy Cameron.
Morris said he’d be shocked if Andrews played again in 2018.
“It’s not looking good, at all,” he said.
Shaun Burgoyne is expected to miss a month with a hamstring injury.
