Matthew Lloyd says Jordan De Goey needs to prove he’s ‘worthy’ of an AFL career
Matthew Lloyd says Jordan De Goey needs to prove he’s worthy of a career at Collingwood.
The former star forward said he “loved” the ‘indefinite’ aspect of De Goey’s club-imposed suspension after he was caught drink-driving at the weekend.
“To me, it says he may not come back at all,” Lloyd said on Sportsday.
“I know that is unlikely to happen, but he’s got to prove he’s worthy of coming back at all.
“I hope it’s a long stint.”
