The latest on the concerning incident at Northland Shopping Centre

Today Show reporter, Izabella Staskowski, has spoken on the concerning incident which unfolded at Northland Shopping Centre yesterday afternoon.
A stolen Toyota Landcruiser ploughed through the centre, evading police and thankfully missing nearby patrons, and the driver has now been arrested by police this morning.
And a caller on the Rumour File yesterday morning has caught the attention of Ross and Russ in hindsight.

“Understanding it’s going to open as normal today,” Ms Staskowski said in relation to the shopping centre.
Police have confirmed they recovered the stolen Landcruiser at 5:10pm yesterday, which was dumped in Beavers Road in Northcote.
The vehicle was stolen from an address on King Street in Ivanhoe East on 2 June.
It is believed an electronic key reprogramming tool was used to steal the Landcruiser without the vehicle’s keys.
Investigators arrested a 27-year-old East Melbourne man at a Hoddle Street address in East Melbourne at about 8:30am this morning.
An electronic key reprogramming tool was seized during the arrest.
The man will be interviewed by detectives.
Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
