Tony Jones eats his words on 3AW Mornings!

Tony Jones had to eat his words this morning!

The 3AW Mornings regular said he’d been left with egg on his face after suggesting West Coast would “waste” a spot in the grand final last month.

He said they couldn’t play well at the MCG.

The Eagles finished the 2018 season as the only team to be undefeated at the MCG.

“I’ve got egg on my face,” TJ said on Monday.

“It’s an opinion-based industry and that was my opinion at the time.

“Clearly, it was very wrong.”
